REALIZED IN 2003
BEST carried out the technological part of a building design for the thermal hydrolysis of sewage sludge in the city sewage works. The thermal hydrolysis system includes the module of pressure and temperature pendulum, which enables the production of higher amount of biogas. Afterprocess sludge is therefore sterile and safe.
The most challenging part was to calculate and adjust the air production system to electric power generators, powered by biogas from fermentation chambers.
